Dr Anne Kidman Consultant Physician, Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist

Dr Kidman is a specialist gastroenterologist based in Melbourne.
She completed her medical training at Monash University, followed by specialist gastroenterology and general physician training at a number of tertiary and quaternary public hospitals in Melbourne.
Dr Kidman worked as a general physician and consultant gastroenterologist in Darwin before returning to Melbourne in 2010. Since then she has worked as a consultant gastroenterologist at Eastern Health.
Dr Kidman loves her job and finds diagnostic challenges in gastroenterology interesting and rewarding. She has expertise in the full range of gastroenterological disorders in adults. She performs diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy at Holmesglen Private Hospital, Eastern Health and the Springvale Endoscopy Centre. At Eastern Health, Dr Kidman enjoys teaching advanced gastroenterology trainees all aspects of gastroenterology, particularly endoscopy, and has completed the National Endoscopy Training Initiative’s ‘Train the Colonoscopy Trainer’ course.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia and the Australian Medical Association.
