Springvale Endoscopy Center is a private day procedure center.
You will be advised of any fees that may be applicable to you at the time of booking. The fees for procedures are as follows:
- Doctors Professional Fees:
Professional fees charged by the Specialist doctors including endoscopist and anaesthetist. All these fees are fully covered by Medicare or your Private Health Insurance. There will be no out of pocket cost to the patient. - Pathology fees:
There may be a pathology fee if any biopsy or specimens are taken during the examination for analysis. Again this fee is covered by Medicare and there are no out of pocket costs to the patient. - Facility Fee:
The Springvale Endoscopy Center is a private day surgery center and charges a facility fee which is not covered by Medicare and is payable on the day. The amount charged varies from procedure to procedure. Please contact our office for a quote for your procedure facility fee.
Payments can be made by EFTPOS, VISA, Mastercard or Cash.
If you have current Private Health Insurance and you are not within waiting periods, part or all of the facility fee may be covered by your Insurance depending on the type of insurance you have. Please inform the receptionist at the time of booking which insurance and level of cover you have.
Concession rates are given to patients with Centerlink pension cards and health care card holders.
